I never was much into the holiday’s before I had kids. In fact I was pretty much a BAH-HUMBUG! I have no clue what the HECK I was thinking!! October to Jan 1st is literally the best time of the year!!! I go all out for the holidays, I’m probably just making up for all the years I didn’t celebrate. Now that both kids are old enough(2yrs & 4yrs) to partake in the Holliday activities we’ve been able to have a lot of fun in the kitchen making fun spooky treats. Kyosn my 4yr old really doesn’t like chocolate much..I just don’t understand it!! So these mummy balls were made using his favorite flavors vanilla and peanut butter.
I got this idea from browsing Pinterest! There are so many cute Halloween inspired treats!!! I didn’t want to blast the kids with too much sugar, they will be getting enough at school Holliday parties. I cleaned up the ingredients in my mummy truffle and it was huge hit!! Heck yes!
I only used gluten-free rolled oats, salted creamy peanut butter, honey, and flax meal! I coated them in a white chocolate bath for the final touch, ommggeee amazing!!! This is a great snack or treat, and super addictive!!

Perfect Holliday treat for kids and adults!!
- 1 cup gluten free rolled oats regular are fine too
- 1/2 cup peanut butter smooth & salted
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/3 cup flax meal
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 3 tbsp coconut oil
- Black edible gel for mummy eyes
Place all peanut butter ball ingredients into your food processor and process. You will need to stop a few times and scrap down sides.
With a cookie dough scoop make 10-12 balls. You may need to use your hands to mold into smooth balls.
Place balls in the freezer to set while you prepare you white chocolate.
In sauce pan melt the coconut oil till it becomes a liquid, then turn off the heat. Pour in the white chocolate chips and stir till it all becomes smooth. This can also be done in a microwave very easily, however I don't own one! haha!
Pull your balls out of the freezer. With a spoon give each ball one coat of white chocolate and place back in freezer or fridge for a few minuets to set.
Place the rest of the white chocolate sauce in a plastic sandwich bag.
For the second coat cut one of the corner tips of your plastic bag. Drizzle back and forth on the balls to create mummy look.
Using your black gel give each mummy a set of eyes! SPPPOOOOOTAKKKULARR your done!! Make sure to store mummy balls in the fridge or freezer.
