Crispy roasted broccoli tossed with fresh garlic, finished with nutty Parmesan cheese and bright lemon juice. This easy side dish is packed with flavor, roasts beautifully at high heat, and pairs perfectly with chicken, pasta, or holiday meals.
Preheat your oven to 425°F. A hot oven is key for getting crispy, golden edges on the broccoli.
Prepare the broccoli
Add the broccoli florets to a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss until evenly coated.
Season
Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Toss again until everything is well distributed.
Roast
Spread the broccoli in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until the edges are deeply golden and crispy.
Finish with Parmesan
