This easy cherry tomato Caprese salad is filled with bright juicy tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and fresh basil, and tossed it in the best vinaigrette! It goes great with just about anything! The flavors are so bright and fresh that it’s impossible to pass up on this salad.

Well here is a dish I could eat over and over, and never share, haha. It makes a terrific appetizer or side dish. Whether you serve it with your meal or put it out before is up to you, there is no wrong way to eat it. I made it for easter and got so many compliments… its the easy vinaigrette that takes the flavor of this Cherry Tomato Caprese Salad above and beyond.

This recipe will be on rotation all summer for me when my garden is full of all the juicy tomatoes!! Oh boy, I can not wait! Growing my own produce is truly my pride and joy, next to my kids of course, haha.

Cherry tomato Caprese salad is full of fresh Italian-inspired flavor!

Ingredients in Cherry Tomato Caprese Salad

  • 20 ounces cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 10-12 ounces mozzerella balls (bocconcini)
  • 1/3 cup basil leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
  • 1 lemon, juice of
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 tbsp agave
  • salt & pepper to taste

How to Make Cherry Tomato Caprese Salad Recipe

Anyone can make this recipe, it’s level 1, easy breezzyyy. I recommend letting it sit in the fridge one hour before serving. The simple dressing really gives it great flavor.

  • To a large bowl add tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella balls.
  • In a separate bowl or jar mix olive oil, white balsamic, minced garlic, lemon juice, agave, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour dressing over tomato mixture toss well.
  • Optional: Let sit in the fridge for 1 hour before serving.

Ingredients
